Irene Update
Irene missed us. There was some wind and a little rain, but not much different than your average storm. Power was out for about an hour, plus lots of little flickers. Time to go to the beach!
Mmmm, hurricanes. We shouldn't have a problem with Katia unless it decides to hang out off the coast for another few weeks. But we will be keeping an eye on things. Last thing we want is to wade into a storm while visiting a chain of islands.

Katia is out there now, and we are just coming into peak hurricane season.
